Geobern Farms – The James (2634 Rosetta Rd, Lanark, ON K0G 1K0)
The Geobern Farm is a one-stop shop, they have it all. From corn mazes to pumpkin picking, it’s a great place to visit with family. They have a big selection of pumpkins, gourds, mini jacks, Indian corn, corn stalks and straw bales. Before you take off with one of their fall decorations make sure to take a stroll through the corn maze. Or even hop on the wagon for a ride through the bush, to see the beautiful fall colours and the sugarbush. Be sure to check out the farm animals and play structure once the ride is over.
Saunders Farm (7893 Bleeks Rd, Ottawa, ON K0A 3P0)
Saunders Farm is a 100-acre farm attraction just 24 minutes from Almonte. Whether you like to be scared or not they have it all. Pumpkin Season starts September 25th – October 31, 10:00am – 5:00pm. With lots of outdoor attractions available such as pumpkin picking, hedge mazes, jumbo jumpers, a play structure, puppet shows, a parade and an outdoor patio. Be sure to check out the pumpkin season with your family. But if you’re looking for a little bit of a scare be sure to book a ticket for their Fright Fest. Fright Fest is one of Canada’s most terrifying haunted experiences. They have six haunted attractions including The Haunted Hayride, The Barn of Terror, The shambles, The Coven, The Circus of the Macabre, and The Cemetery Scare Zone. When you’re done getting scared be sure to check out their patio for a bite to eat.
Original Haunted Walk of Ottawa 2021 (46 1/2 Sparks St., Ottawa, ON K1P 5A8)
Experience Ottawa like never before on a 75-minute Original Haunted Walk. The Haunted Walk of Ottawa lets you experience the darker side of Canada’s capital. You will hear tales of the city’s haunted heritage, hear the hair-raising stories and see the area’s most haunted sites. You will be led by a lantern light to some of their favourite haunted spots, such as the Bytown Museum, the Fairmont Château Laurier and Ottawa’s haunted high school. A favourite stop is the haunted Bytown Museum where many of the guides have had their own experiences to share. After the walk you’ll never look at the city and these buildings the same again.
